The Owners Behind Silver Lining Care Solutions

We built a boutique home care agency in NYC because we couldn't find one when our own families needed it most.

Creating Caring Connections

That isn't a slogan we picked off a shelf. Between the three of us, we've sat in oncology waiting rooms, learned to read the signs of an Alzheimer's flare-up, and managed a parent through the slow progression of Parkinson's. We started Silver Lining Care Solutions because we knew exactly what a family needs in that moment, and we knew we could build it better than what was out there.

Why We Built a Registry Model Instead of Another Agency

We'd each been through home care from the family side before we ever built a home care company. We knew what it felt like to call an agency and get a rotating cast of aides we'd never met, billed at a rate that had little to do with what the aide in our parent's home actually earned.

So when we started Silver Lining Care Solutions, we chose the registry model on purpose. Under this structure, your family employs your aide directly, and your aide keeps roughly $30 an hour instead of the $19 an agency typically pays out on a comparable $41 billed rate. It's a private home care NYC families can actually see the economics of, not a black box.

One Silver Lining, and Here's How to Find the Right One

If you've searched for us before, you may have found a different company. Silver Lining Care Solutions is a private-pay home care registry serving Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, Westchester County, Fairfield County, and Nassau County. We are not affiliated with the Medicaid-focused Silver Lining agency based in Brooklyn. If you're looking for us specifically, our registry model and free consultation are the way to confirm you've found the right company.

Completely Owner-Operated, and We Like It That Way

Silver Lining Care Solutions is completely owner-operated. No franchise fees dictating our pricing, no multi-branch corporate office making decisions about your family from somewhere else. When you call, you reach us or someone we trained personally, not a call center reading from a script.

Being small isn't a limitation here. It's how a family-owned home care NYC business earns your trust one household at a time, instead of scaling past the point of knowing anyone's name.

What We Learned From Sitting Where You're Sitting Now

Every skilled care task our aides are trained to perform, medication administration, wound care, insulin injections, ostomy and trach care, exists because we know what "keeping someone comfortable at home" actually requires. We built our specialty programs around the conditions we've personally navigated as caregivers.

  • Hospice & Palliative Care, informed by walking a family member through end-of-life care ourselves
  • Memory Care for Alzheimer's, dementia, and Parkinson's, built from firsthand experience managing cognitive decline at home
  • Oncology support, shaped by coordinating a parent's care through cancer treatment
